Write to peace@discise.com about anything — a file that came out wrong, a shop that refused it, a thing you wish it did.
where your files land
Every shot writes itself, silently, with no sharing sheet and no waiting. Three exports are free; after those the proof still arrives, while the master and the print file wait inside the app until you buy — the newest twelve, handed over the moment you do:
- dissections
- Files → On My iPhone → dissector → dissections. Holds the SVG master and the PNG proof.
- photos
- The proof is saved to your photo library too. A tick in the app turns it off, and refusing the permission costs nothing — the proof is in dissections either way. The app can only add to your library; it never reads it.
- print shop
- Files → On My iPhone → dissector → print shop. Holds the print file, on its own, because the print file is the thing that leaves and you should be able to send it whole.
what comes out of one shot
- svg
- A master — real curves, closed contours, one named layer per ink. Opens in Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity or Figma, and cuts on a plotter because the contours close.
- png
- A proof — for showing people and dropping into layouts.
- A print file — a CMYK vector PDF, each ink on its own page, with registration marks, the finished size in millimetres and the screen ruling stated on every film.
what is not in yet
- landscape
- Shoot portrait. It is a queue, not a bug.
- low light
- Better than it was, and not solved. A dim room is the hard case for the colour modes; if a plate comes out grainy, that is the shot worth sending us.
- pdf/x
- The print file is not PDF/X — there is no output intent and no embedded ICC profile. If your workflow requires one, tell us.
if a print shop refuses a file
Send us what they said, word for word. That sentence is worth more to this app than a hundred passes of our own tests, and the file gets fixed rather than the wording.
reporting something wrong
Useful to include, though none of it is required: which iPhone, which iOS, what you pointed it at, what you expected, and what you got. A screenshot of the plate says more than a description of it. Nothing is too small to send.
refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple rather than through us — reportaproblem.apple.com. If something about the app caused it, write to us as well, because we would like to know.
privacy
Your pictures never leave the phone, and there is no account and no analytics — the app’s one connection is to the App Store, for buying. The policy says so at length.
