it collects nothing

Nothing. No account, no sign-in, no email address, no device identifier. No analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry, no advertising identifier, and no third‑party SDK of any kind. The app’s privacy manifest declares this formally to Apple: data collected, none; tracking, false. There is no mechanism by which any of it could reach us — not by our choice, and not by our mistake. The one connection the app makes is to the App Store, when you buy or restore, and that is between you and Apple.

The app needs the camera, because it is a camera. What the lens sees is turned into curves on the device, in memory, by the phone’s own graphics hardware. No frame is ever written to disk, and none is ever transmitted. The photograph is discarded the moment the line is born — the drawing is what is kept.

Every shot writes an SVG, a PNG proof and a print file. The first three exports land in the Files app on your phone, in folders of their own; after those the proof still lands there, and the master and the print file wait inside the app until you buy. The proof is also saved to your photo library, which is a tick you can turn off and a permission you can refuse — refuse it and nothing is lost, because the proof is in the Files app regardless. The app can only ADD to your library. It never reads it. They are yours either way. We never see them, never receive a copy, and have no way to know they exist. What you do with them afterwards — send them to a shop, put them on a shirt, delete them — is not visible to us.

Nothing, which means there is nothing to request, correct, export or delete. If you need that stated in writing for a client, an employer or a review board, write to us and a person will send it to you.

The app is free to download. Ownership is bought inside it — once, or by the year — and Apple takes the payment, holds that record, and tells us only that a sale happened. We never see your card, your name, your address or your Apple ID. We are not told who you are. The terms of the purchase are Apple’s standard ones, linked beside the price in the app.

A yearly plan renews through your Apple account until you cancel it there, at least 24 hours before the period ends; we cannot cancel or refund it for you, and refunds are Apple’s to give. The count of your three free exports is kept in this phone’s keychain: it is not an identifier, it never leaves the device, and it survives deleting the app. What you have bought is read the same way, from the transactions Apple has already signed and stored on your phone — which is why everything except buying works with no connection at all.

There is nothing here to collect from anybody, of any age.

It will not change quietly. A version of dissector that touched the network would say so in its release notes, and this page would say so on the day it shipped rather than afterwards.
